S&S Steelstock Ltd has traded for over 25 years, In 2020 we opened a Midlands office with two new directors on board, in 2022 Chris Downs and Barry Collins completed the purchase of S&S Steelstock. Sales of sheet and coil continue to grow, and with our own fleet of vehicles and recent accreditation to ISO9001:2015 we are now established suppliers to the automotive sector.
Barry and Chris first met each other over 20 years ago and soon realised their shared passion for football , horse racing and steel. They have worked together for most of the 20 years and are also both season ticket holders at Walsall f.c
In 2020 they decided to take their chance and buy a steel business together and despite the lockdown soon turned the business into a 10 million plus turnover company in their 2nd year of trading.
As they enter their third year the companies success continues, they have gained ISO9001:2015 accreditation, to help further grow the business they have decided to add a third partner, Jon Elwell, who they had both previously worked with and known personally for over 20 years.
Jon is a keen musician and had a top 30 hit in the UK indie charts with his band "Long Day Gone" sharing the chart with Adelle and Shaun the sheep! Jon joined the company in April 2023 to complete the team.
The company is now owned outright by the three directors and the decision was made to move the business away from Blackburn and base S&S Steelstock Ltd solely in the West Midlands at the new head office in Willenhall.

S&S Steelstock Specialize in the supply of sheared blanks, we supply blanks in HRMS, Cold Reduced, Galvanized, Electro Zinc and Aluminized in a range of gauges up to 6mm.
